Joao Jacinto Ph.D.

Joao Jacinto is an Information Specialist with FIZ Karlsruhe, joining in 2022. He attended the NOVA University of Lisbon School of Science and Technology, where he earned his master’s degree in microelectronics and nanotechnology engineering, as well as a Ph.D. in radiation biology and biophysics.

Prior to FIZ Karlsruhe, Joao was intellectual property counsel at Cynora GmbH, a German company specializing in OLED research and development, where he advised R&D managers on patentability criteria, competitive monitoring, and patent drafting. He previously worked in intellectual property matters at Gastao da Cunha Ferreira, Lda in Portugal.
